Newburg Police Department

Welcome to the Newburg Police Department’s website! We’re proud to serve the wonderful community of Newburg, and we’re dedicated to keeping our town a safe, welcoming place for everyone. Our officers work hard to build positive connections, support our residents, and be a reliable resource whenever help is needed. Even as a part-time department, our commitment to the community remains strong, and we are always working to provide responsive, community-focused service.
Because the Newburg Police Department is part-time, emergencies should always be directed to 9-1-1. For non-emergencies requiring immediate assistance, residents should contact the Washington County or Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Departments, as the Village of Newburg is uniquely located in both counties. These agencies provide full-time coverage and can respond quickly to urgent situations when NPD officers are not on duty.
For questions or concerns that do not require immediate attention—especially issues related to village ordinances or other “local” matters—residents are welcome to call the Newburg Police Department and leave a message for an officer. We value every opportunity to connect with our community and address concerns. This website is here to help you stay informed, find useful resources, and stay connected with your police department as we work together to keep Newburg a safe and vibrant place to live and visit.
